The M-Link ADA013 USB 2.0 to SATA cable provides a simple way to connect a compatible 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or solid state drive to a computer through a standard USB Type-A port. It is ideal for accessing files from spare drives, transferring data, backing up important information or connecting a SATA drive externally without installing it inside a computer.
The USB 2.0 interface provides theoretical transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps and is backwards compatible with USB 1.1. Hot-swap support allows compatible SATA drives to be connected and disconnected conveniently, while support for both Windows and macOS makes the adapter suitable for a variety of computer environments.
