The Kingston KC600 256GB is a high-performance 2.5-inch SATA SSD designed to improve system responsiveness, boot times, application loading and file transfers. Using 3D TLC NAND and an SM2259 controller, it provides a reliable upgrade for compatible desktop and notebook computers.
The 256GB model delivers sequential read speeds of up to 550MB/s and write speeds of up to 500MB/s through its SATA Rev. 3.0 6Gb/s interface. It is also backwards compatible with SATA Rev. 2.0 systems, making it suitable for upgrading a wide range of existing PCs.
The KC600 includes a comprehensive hardware-based security suite with XTS-AES 256-bit encryption, TCG Opal 2.0 and eDrive support. With 150TBW endurance, a DRAM cache and a 5-year limited warranty, it is designed for dependable everyday storage and system use.
